ABOUT ELITE JR.
Elite Jr. academic-enrichment courses have been carefully designed to help students in grades 5–9 get a head start on developing the knowledge necessary for academic success. Students build foundational skills in reading, writing, and math that will help them excel in virtually every class they will encounter in junior high and high school.
POWER READING & WRITING
Elite Jr. Power Reading & Writing utilizes award-winning works of literature to help students develop essential reading and writing skills. Students read challenging and engaging books that will prepare them for the types of reading material included in standardized tests, such as the PSAT, SAT, and ACT. Our experienced instructors guide the class through each text, helping students expand their vocabulary and closely examine the language and literary devices used by the authors.
POWER MATH
Elite Jr. Power Math provides students in grades 5–9 with a preview of the math subjects they will encounter in the upcoming school year. Using the most current textbooks, Power Math helps students grasp even the most difficult concepts in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus, helping to ensure excellent grades in the upcoming school year and successful performance on upcoming college-admission assessments.
