Good grades and impressive test scores are important, but top colleges are looking for students with depth, passion, and defined interests.

If you want to open the door to your dream college...

Design Your Own Tower Defense Game

Practice the fundamentals of coding in Python by building a custom-designed game world. With each week’s lesson, terminologies and functions will come to life as students use them to build and diversify their game features. Students will not only learn how code works, but they will also be introduced to the basics of user engagement and good game design. Game engine and assets will be provided.

Learn About a Potential College Major

Students hoping to explore the field of computer science or programming will find this course to be the perfect introduction. Those who enjoy the course will be prepared for the challenges of next-level LEAD workshops like Data Science and Web App Development. Those who decide not to continue with Computer Science will still have a valuable, results-oriented activity to put on their college applications.
