The International Academic Competitions

The Center for Future Global Leaders (CFGL) is pleased to announce that it, in partnership with Elite Educational Institute, will sponsor a triad of contests in the summer of 2009, providing a stage for students around the world to demonstrate achievement in fundamental skills that are part of the traditional liberal arts education. By sponsoring these contests, CFGL seeks to encourage young people to grasp the link between a liberal arts education and professional success. Contest subject areas include persuasive writing, vocabulary, and math.
The Center for Future Global Leaders is a non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating leadership skills in young people. These contests receive generous support of Elite Educational Institute and its affiliate Elite of Korea, an official recruiter for Presidential Classroom.
The triad of contests:
- The Center for Future Global Leaders-Presidential Classroom Essay Contest (CFGL-PCEC) will challenge students' rhetorical skills in an extemporaneous persuasive essay format. The winner of this international contest will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Washington, DC to participate in a week-long Presidential Classroom program
- The Center for Future Global Leaders Lexicon Challenge (CFGL-LC) will test students' mastery of vocabulary. The winner of this contest will receive an all-expenses paid trip to visit some of America’s top universities.
