Content Development Specialist — Math

Elite Educational Institute is looking for part-time content developers with experience in standardized testing to help revise and expand its existing high-school mathematics curriculum. The content developer will write new mathematics items, review and edit existing items, and proofread lesson content.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field required; master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred
  • At least one year of experience teaching or tutoring high-school mathematics required
  • At least one year of experience using LaTeX required
  • Strong writing and editorial ability
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
  • Experience developing standardized test items strongly preferred
  • Experience with computer programming preferred

The content developer will write original passages, write reading and grammar test items, review and edit existing materials, and proofreading lesson content.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field required; master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred.
  • At least one year of experience teaching English or writing at a high school or college level required.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Thorough understanding of principles of reading instruction and formal grammar
  • Strong word-processing skills
  • Strong editorial ability
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
  • Experience developing standardized test items strongly preferred
     

Content Development Specialist — Science

Elite Educational Institute is looking for part-time content developers with experience in standardized testing to help revise and expand its existing high-school science curriculum. The content developer will write original science passages, create new test items, review and edit existing items, review and edit existing lesson content, and create new lesson content.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, physics, or a related field required; master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred
  • At least one year of experience teaching or tutoring high-school science required
  • Strong writing and editorial ability
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
  • Experience developing standardized test items strongly preferred
  • Experience with LaTeX preferred
  • Experience with computer programming preferred
